Old Railway Walk Trevor
2 miles (3.2 km)This circular walk takes you along the Old Railway Line and the Llangollen Canal in Trevor, Wrexham County.
The walk starts from Trevor Old Station and takes you along the old Ruabon to Barmouth railway line before linking up with the canal. This will lead you towards the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct before returning to the old station.
There's a good mix of local history and pleasant rural scenery as you make your way along the trails.... You can extend your outing on the Trevor to Llangollen Canal Walk.

Course of an abandoned railway line in Trevor. The Ruabon–Barmouth line was a scenic 54-mile standard-gauge railway that once linked northeast Wales to the west coast. Though it fell victim to the Beeching Axe and closed to passengers on 18 January 1965, parts of its legacy survive today through preserved railways and recreational trails
