Devils Kneading Trough | 1 miles (2 km) | The Devil’s Kneading Trough is a striking natural amphitheatre located near Wye in Kent, within the North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This dramatic dry valley is one of the finest examples of its kind in England, carved out over thousands of years by glacial meltwater. From the top, visitors are rewarded with sweeping views over the Kent Downs and the expansive Wye National Nature Reserve. On clear days, it is possible to see the English Channel and even the distant coastline of France.
