Pistyll Y Llyn Waterfall Walk

This walk visits the Pistyll Y Llyn Waterfall in the Cambrian Mountains.
You can start the walk at the end of the country lane at Cwm Rhaeadr where there is limited parking. From here you can follow trails south to reach the waterfall. Pistyll Y Llyn is an impressive sight being one of the tallest waterfalls in Wales and the United Kingdom.... It's formed where the River Llyfnant falls from Llyn Penrhaeadr for approximately 525 feet (160 metres) into Cwm Rhaeadr in two waterfalls, and a series of cascades.
You can extend the walk by heading a little further south to visit the pretty Llyn Penrhaeadr.
To continue your walking in the area visit the expansive Nant-y-moch Reservoir.
