Abergavenny Three Peaks Walk

This circular walk from Abergavenny visits the three peaks of Skirrid Fawr, Sugarloaf Mountain and Blorenge.
The challenging walk runs for about 20 miles with wonderful views over the Brecon Beacons for most of the walk.
The route begins in the centre of Abergavenny and first heads north east to Skirrid Fawr where there you'll pass the ruined chapel of St Michael's near the summit....
You continue west to the Sugarloaf where there are more fabulous views of the Severn Estuary, the Cotswolds to the east, as far as the Brecon Beacons including Pen y Fan and Corn Du to the west and the Bristol Channel to the south.
The route then heads south passing Gilwern before climbing to Blorenge which stands at a height of 561 m (1,841 ft).
The final section descends to Llanfoist crossing the canal and the River Usk before returning to Abergavenny.
