Bedford River Walk
4.2 miles (6.8 km)This lovely riverside walk takes you along the River Great Ouse in the county town of Bedfordshire.
The walk starts from the car park and visitor centre in Priory Country Park. From here you can pick up a trail heading west past the marina to the riverside path.... Follow it west and it will take you through the town passing the pretty Mill Meadows Park, Bedford Lock and the County Hall.
The route continue to Kempston where there's a scenic spot to relax in at Kempston Mill and weir. You could pick up the Kempston River Walk here and head to nearby Bromham if you'd like to extend the walk.

Kempston Marina. Small Marina and apartment block, off the river Great Ouse, on the boundary of Bedford and Kempston. The Marina is on the South side of the river next to the cycle/foot path, with its arched footbridge, between Queens Park and Kempston.
