Errit Lough
1.1 miles (1.8 km)This walk visits Errit Lough in west County Roscommon. The lake is located 10 km south-west of the town of Ballaghaderreen in the upper part of the Boyle River catchment.
On the western side of the lake you will find a parking area with picnic tables where you can enjoy a fine view of the lake.... Here you can also pick up a footpath heading north west along the water towards a woodland area. It's a pleasant place for a very peaceful stroll with interesting vegetation, geological features and wildlife to look out for.
To continue your lakeside walking in the area head to Lough O' Flynn.
