Park Hall Country Park
Enjoy a cycle or walk in this large country park in Stoke-on-Trent. The park is popular with dog walkers with its nice woodland areas and two ponds. From the high points in the park there are good views over the city. You can extend your exercise by visiting the nearby Hanley Forest Park where there are more cycling and walking paths to try.
There's also the Stoke on Trent Canal Walk along the towpath of the Trent and Mersey Canal to try.

The woodland and parkland trails are great for dog walking with many off lead areas. You will probably bump into other owners on your visit.

On the western side of the city there's another fine country park in the shape of Apedale Country Park in Newcastle Under Lyme. The waterside path around Westport Lake is another good local option for an easy stroll.

Park Hall Country Park is Stoke on Trent's only National Nature Reserve comprising woodland, heathland & ponds. Gravel was extracted between 1939 & 1970 but nature has now taken over and the area is a haven for natural wildlife & fanua.
