Cycle Superhighway 1
The CS1 Cycle route runs from Tottenham in North London into the city.
Heading south from Tottenham you'll pass Seven Sisters, Stamford Hill, Stoke Newington, Dalston, De Beauvoir and Hoxton before finishing in The City near Shoreditch, Spitalfields and the Barbican.
The route runs for about 8 miles on quiet streets. Around De Beauvoir the route crosses the Regent's Canal. The traffic free towpath is a nice place for a cycle through the city.
Cycle Superhighway 3 is another popular cycling route to try in the capital. The trail runs from Lancaster Gate to Greatfields Park in Barking, passing several of the city's highlights on the way.

Behind it, the Latin Market, developed in a building which many years ago was a department store called Wards. It stood empty for many years.
