Great Notley Country Park
A short walk or cycle around the 100 acre Great Notley Country Park in Braintree, Essex.
The park is a mixture of wetland and open grassland with views of the Essex Countryside. Cycle hire is available within the park and there is also a cafe for refreshments. Great Notley is located a couple of miles south west of Braintree.
The Flitch Way passes just to the north of the park. This shared cycling and walking trail runs along a disused railway line to Bishop's Stortford via Great Dunmow.

Pubs/Cafes
The on site Skylark café serves a good range of meals and snacks. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you fancy a pub lunch head into Great Notley village where you could visit the Prince Louis. It's located in a nice spot on Notley Green at postcode CM77 7US. They serve good food and have a pleasant large garden to relax in.
Dog Walking
The park is a great place for dog walking with miles of trails and off lead area. The cafe mentioned above is also dog friendly.
