Abbotts Ann Circular Walk
This circular walk explores the countryside and woods to the south of the Wiltshire village of Abbotts Ann.
The walk runs for about 3.5 miles, passing along a series of reasonably flat footpaths and country lanes. Along the way there are lovely views of the countryside and a number of pretty thatched cottages to see in Abbotts Ann itself.
You could enjoy some post walk refreshments at the Poplar Farm Inn on the eastern side of the village. The thatched country pub serves good food and has a nice garden area. You can find them at Old Salisbury Rd, SP11 7NJ. They are dog friendly and also have a car park so you could start the walk from here.
To continue your walking head east to explore the Iron Age Hillfort at Bury Hill near Andover.
