This walk follows Amber Valley Routeways numbers 16 and 6 around Heanor, Shipley Country Park and Mapperley Reservoir.
The waymarked paths are a nice way to explore the Amber Valley area.
This circular walk starts in Smalley village and follows the trails through the countryside to the park and reservoir. On the way there are some lovely countryside views and waterside paths along Shipley Lake and Mapperley Reservoir.
