The Three Bridges at Devil's Bridge. In the area surrounding the falls, the natural world flourishes in abundance. The woodland is dominated by mature oak and beech trees intermingled with silver birch, their gnarled branches draped with a rich layer of mosses and lichens. On the forest floor, clusters of ferns, wild garlic and bluebells emerge in spring, while hardy heathers and bilberry add splashes of colour across the rocky outcrops during the drier months. The site teems with wildlife; birds such as woodpeckers, nuthatches and kingfishers are frequent visitors to the cascading water, and small mammals like red squirrels can sometimes be seen flitting among the trees. This blend of rugged geological features, rich vegetation and diverse fauna creates a vibrant, living tableau that captures the essence of rural Wales.
