Open Streetmap This walk in Dublin takes you along the coastal walking path in Clontarf.
The route will take you to the lovely St Anne's Park, passing the Wooden Bridge and the Royal Dublin golf course on the way. The walk runs for just over 5km along a flat path which is also suitable for cycling. Along the way you can head out onto the Wooden Bridge and enjoy some splendid views across Dublin Bay.
The walk finishes in the picturesque St Anne's Park where there's a rose garden, ponds and walks along the Naniken River.

Head south and you can try the Dun Laoghaire Pier Walk. It's another popular coastal walk taking you along the 19th century pier with splendid sea views and an additional visit to the delightful People's Park.

Bull Wall Bridge, North Bull Wall, Dollymount, Dublin The building of the Bull Wall (as an aid to shipping) commenced in 1819 and was completed in 1824. The materials used were granite and local limestone. It stretches for 9,000 feet from the shore at Dollymount to the North Bull light at the entrance to the Port. It is connected to the mainland by the wooden bridge depicted here.
