Nettlebed and Swyncombe Woods Circular Walk

7.5 miles (12 km)

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk explores the countryside around Nettlebed and Swyncombe in the Chilterns.
The 7.5 mile trail starts and finishes in the village of Nettlebed and follows footpaths north west towards Ewelme Park and Swyncombe where there's a restored Norman church, peaceful woodland trails and some lovely countryside views. The churchyard is a scenic spot in February with lots of pretty snowdrops to see.
The loop then passes Cookley Green and Russell's Water before returning to Nettlebed.
To continue your walking in the area try the Nettlebed Woods and Middle Assendon Circular Walk which will take you to the National Trust's Greys Court and the widlife rich Warburg Nature Reserve.
