Oxburgh Hall Walk
This walk visits the Norfolk village of Oxborough and the 15th century moated country house of Oxburgh Hall.
The estate includes parkland and woodland with a number of waymarked trails making it ideal for an easy afternoon stroll.
In the estate you'll find lovely formal gardens and woodland trails through My Lady's Wood and Home Covert. Look out for water loving wildlife by the pretty stream in My Lady's Wood.
To continue your walking in the area head to the delightful Lynford Arboretum. Located near Mundford the site has a number of waymarked footpaths, taking you to pretty lakes and a wide variety of tree species. The arboretum lies on the edge of Thetford Forest where there are miles of trails to try.

Further Information and Other Local Ideas
Head north east of the hall and you can pick up the Swaffham Walk around Cockley Cley. This will take you through the peaceful woodland on Swaffham Heath to the attractive market town. Here you'll find some fine Georgian buildings and an interesting medieval church.
