Radipole Lake
This walk visits the RSPB's Radipole Lake Nature Reserve in Weymouth
The reserve is located on the River Wey and includes some pleasant footpaths taking you around the large lake where you can look out for a wide variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for bearded tits, kingfishers,otters and water voles.
The Rodwell Trail starts from the reserve. You could continue your walking along this shared cycling and walking trail. It will take you to the historic Sandsfoot Castle and Gardens which is another local highlight.
Lodmoor Country Park is located just a mile to the east. There's another wildlife rich nature reserve here with good facilities and a cycle path.

Radipole Lake
Visitor Centre. A variety of wildlife-related merchandise is available here along with light refreshments. A list of birds seen at the reserve on the day is also provided, with a view over part of the lake where wildfowl can be seen.
