Talley Abbey Walk
This walk explores the atmospheric ruins of the 12th century Talley Abbey in Carmarthenshire.
As well as the historic ruins there's two lovely lakes and some woodland trails to enjoy through the adjacent Talley Woods. It's a very tranquil place with facilities including free parking, a pleasant little cafe, well maintained grounds and an information boards detailing the history of the site.
You can extend the walk by following country lanes north to link up with the Abergorlech Walk. This will take you east through the lovely River Cothi Valley to the neighbouring village of Abergorlech. Here you can enjoy miles of woodland walking and cycling trails in the expansive Brechfa Forest.
