Built in the style of a French chateau between 1874 and 1889 for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild the house is also surrounded by formal gardens and an English landscape park.
The final stretch takes you through the pretty village of Waddesdon to the finish point at Quainton.

Brill-tramway-park

Tramway Business Park, Brill, Buckinghamshire. The business park gets its name from the Brill Tramway, which ran from Quainton Road and terminated in a station near where the business park stands today. It is astonishing to think that this was the terminus of a branch of the Metropolitan Line, run by the London Underground until 1936.
