Wapley Hill Fort Walk

1.9 miles (3.1 km)

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk climbs to the ancient hill fort on Wapley Hill in Herefordshire.
There is a public car park just east of the hill where you can start your walk. From here follow the trail north west to climb to the hill summit. From here you can enjoy some splendid views of the surrounding Shropshire Hills and Welsh Mountains. The hill also includes some peaceful woodland trail with pretty Foxgloves, Bluebells and lots of woodland birds to look out for.
Part of the walk uses a section of the Mortimer Trail which you can use to further explore the area.
