National Cycle Route 461 - Farnham Common - Slough - Eton - Windsor
5.5 miles (8.9 km)
This signed Sustrans cycle route takes you from the village of Farnham Common to Windsor via Slough and Eton.
The route passes through several green open areas, including Farnham Park and Salt Hill Park, and crosses the artificial Jubilee River. The riverbanks are home to a range of bird species, such as green woodpeckers, cormorants, lapwings and red kites.
From this point, the path continues past Eton College along a traffic-free section before reaching the River Thames. It then connects with National Cycle Route 4, which leads through The Brocas, a riverside meadow, and into Windsor. You can also explore Burnham Beeches at the northern end of the route.
