Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap National Cycle Route 73 runs from Newton Stewart to Stranraer (Southern Section) and from Kilmarnock to the ferry terminal at Ardrossan (Northern Section).
The southern section starts at Newton Stewart and heads to Wigtown and Glenluce before finishing in the coastal town of Stranraer at the southern end of Loch Ryan.
The map and gpx below show the southern section of the route but you can see the northern section on the Kilmarnock to Ardrossan page. At Ardrossan you can catch the ferry to the Isle of Arran and then pick up the Isle of Arran Explorer to continue your ride.
The route also runs along part of the epic Kirkpatrick C2C which runs from coast to coast from Stranraer to Eyemouth.
