The ride first follows the River Usk to Uskmouth before heading east along the Mouth of the Severn to Caldicot and then onto Chepstow.
Most of the route follows quiet roads but there are several short traffic free sections to enjoy with fine views of the Usk Estuary and the mouth of the Severn.
