This route forms the 2nd leg of the magnificent Hadrians Cycleway-a 174 mile National Cycle Network route running through Cumbria, Northumberland and Tyneside.
Highlights on the route include the splendid views of the Solway Firth around Silloth, a lovely run along the River Eden through Carlisle and of course the views of Hadrian's Wall particularly as you pass through the beautiful Northumberland National Park.
