The house has been described as the most complete example of a typical English country house belonging to the Brownlow and Cust family for 300 years.
Belton house is located just to the north of the town of Grantham. You can extend your walking in the area by picking up the Grantham Canal and enjoying an easy waterside stroll through the county.

Dog Walking
The expansive parkland on the estate is ideal for dog walking so you'll probably see plenty of other owners on your visit. You are asked to keep them on a lead as there are sheep grazing around the estate. The cafe mentioned above is also dog friendly.
Please note only assistance dogs are allowed inside the house itself.
