Black Spout Waterfall Walk
This walk visits the scenic Black Spout Waterfall in Pitlochry in Perthshire.
The falls are located just to the east of the town centre near to the Blair Atholl and Edradour Distilleries.
There is a public car park here where you can start the walk, following the Edradour Burn north east to the falls. On the way there's some lovely woodland trails and views of the Edradour Distillery towards the end of the walk.
To continue your walking in the area pick up the Pitlochry, Killiecrankie and Loch Faskally Walk. The route takes you along rivers and lochs with leaping salmon to look out for on the way.

Further Information and Other Local Ideas
To the north west of Pitlochry there's the Linn Of Tummel, a picturesque spot at the confluence of the rivers Garry and Tummel. The National Trust owned area has some nice woodland trails with pine martens and other wildlife to look out for.

The Black Spout. The photograph is taken from the platform that has been provided by the Rotary Club of Pitlochry and was by built by Aberdeen University OTC in 1989. It provides an excellent view of the Edradour Burn and the triple fall of the Black Spout which has a total drop of around 60 metres.
