Carnlough Cranny Falls Walk
This walk takes you to Cranny Falls from the village of Carnlough in County Antrim.
You can reach the falls from the village by following the old Carnlough Mineral Railway west from the village for a distance of about 1.3 miles.
At the site you will find the picturesque falls surrounded by limestone grassland and an attractive river gorge. The walk also offers an opportunity to see local wildlife including red squirrels, foxes, and a variety of birds such as robins, thrushes, and woodpeckers, which are common in this area of Antrim's natural environment.
To the south you can continue your walking in neighbouring Glenarm where you can visit the historic Glenarm Castle and enjoy a walk around their beautiful grounds and gardens. Near here there's more fine coastal views and an ancient ruined church in Cushendall.
