Craster to Low Newton Coastal Walk
This popular coastal walk takes you along the Northumberland coast from Craster to Low Newton.
The walk runs for a distance of 4 miles, taking you along a fairly flat coastal path with wonderful sea views throughout. On the way you will also pass the beautiful Embleton Bay and the historic a href='/routes/home.nsf/RoutesLinksWalks/dunstanburgh-castle-walking-route'>Craster to Dunstanburgh Castle before finishing at the small village of Low Newton By the Sea. There's also some interesting rock formations, pretty beaches and lots of seabirds to look out for. Near the end of the walk you will pass the Newton Pool Nature Reserve where there's a picturesque little lake and a variety of wildlife to see.
