Enniscrone Beach Coastal Walk

Starting at the parking area south of the Enniscrone Pier, the route follows the coastline, offering panoramic views of Killala Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The path is well-maintained, with seating along the way, providing opportunities to relax and enjoy the scenery. The walk is approximately 1.6 kilometers in length, making it suitable for walkers of all ages and abilities. Along the route, you'll encounter diverse flora and fauna typical of coastal environments, as well as views of Enniscrone's sandy beach and the surrounding landscape. The area is also known for its rich history, with nearby attractions such as the ruins of O'Dowd Castle and the historic seaweed baths.
To continue your walking near Enniscrone you could head south east to visit Lough Easkey and Lough Talt where you can pick up the Sligo Way.
