Loch Achilty
This walk visits the lovely Loch Achilty in the Scottish Highlands. You can start the walk from the car park at the western end of the loch and then follow the country lane along the northern shore. It's a very tranquil place with fine views over the waters to the surrounding hills. The picturesque loch also has a pebble beach and is surrounded by birch and oakwoods with lots of wildflowers in the summer.
The walk can be extended by heading north to visit the wonderful Rogie Falls.
