Muir of Ord Hill Walk
This walk climbs to Ord Hill near the village of Muir of Ord, Easter Ross.
The hill is located just to the west of the village with some limited roadside parking available just south of the hill. From here you can follow footpaths up to the Cnoc Croit na Maoile summit where you can enjoy some wonderful views to Black Isle, Cromarty Firth, Beauly Firth, Glen Affric and the Affric mountains. There is also Loch nam Bonnach to the west of the hill you can visit if you have time.

Further Information and Other Local Ideas
A few miles to the south there's the popular village of Beauly. It's a lovely place to visit with a number of independent shops, cherry blossom trees, a pretty square and the ruins of the 13th century priory to see. The Beauly River Walk will take you along the River Beauly with fine views across the Beauly Firth.
