Rissington Round
A circular walk from Great Rissington visiting Little Rissington, the Cotswolds Carp Farm and Bourton on the Water. There's much to enjoy with lovely Cotswold countryside and a visit to three delightful villages.
Starting from Great Rissington you pick up public footpaths heading north through the countryside to the neighbouring village of Little Rissington.
From here you then head north east to Rissington Mill and the Cotswold Carp Farm on the edge of Bourton on the Water. The route then heads into Bourton where you can admire the popular picture postcard Cotswolds village.
After exploring the village you can then pick up the Diamond Way and follow the waymarked path south past the carp farm's lakes to Rissington Bridge. The trail turns east, crossing the River Dikler and heading back towards Little Rissington. You then follow another public footpaths south to return to Great Rissington.

Pubs/Cafes
Back in Great Rissington head to the excellent Lamb Inn for some post walk refreshments. The fine Cotswold stone inn dates back to the 17th century. There's a charming interior and a lovely garden area to sit out in if the weather is fine. You can find the pub at postcode GL54 2LP for your sat navs.
Dog Walking
The country trails make for a fine dog walk and the Lamb Inn mentioned above is also dog friendly.
