West of the Little Heath suburbs, the houses quickly give way to a belt of woodland on the edge of the Pang valley. There are many tracks through these woods, collectively known as Sulham Woods.
The Greyhound, Tidmarsh. A popular pub in the village centre, still retaining a local feel as well as doing a good food trade. The thatch caught fire about 10 years ago and the pub was nearly destroyed, but it was rebuilt to its original specification, which includes low beams.
