West Acre Walks
The pretty Norfolk village of West Acre lies just to the west of Castle Acre on the Nar Valley Way footpath.
This walk from the village takes you east along the waymarked trail to visit the historic castle and ancient priory remains at neighbouring Castle Acre. Along the way there are some lovely views of the River Nar and the surrounding Norfolk countryside. There's also some picturesque fords and a noteworthy Grade I listed church to see in the village.

- Castle Acre - This lovely circular walk takes you around the grounds of Castle Acre Priory, before heading along the River Nar to the nearby Castle Acre Common
- Nar Valley Way - Follow the River Nar from King's Lynn to Gressenhall on this delightful waterside walk through Norfolk.
The walk passes Shouldham, West Acre and Litcham following footpaths and country lanes close to or beside the River Nar.
