Wherwell Circular Walk

This walk explores the area around the Hampshire village of Wherwell. The village sits in scenic location, next to the River Test and Chilbolton Cow Common.
It's a very pretty area with country views, river trails, woodland areas and a delightful village with picturesque thatched cottages.
Starting in the village you first follow the River Anton north west to visit neighbouring Goodworth Clatford.
The route then heads east passing the Hampshire Golf Club and skirting the edge of the Upping Copse.
In this area you pick up the Test Way and follow the waymarked trail south west back to the village where you can stroll down to the 19th century church.
