National Cycle Route 164 - Pocklington to Beverley
This signed Sustrans cycle route runs from Pocklington to Beverley along National Cycle Route 164.
The route uses part of National Cycle Route 1 to create a continuous route between the two settlements.
Route 164 is actually divided into two sections. The northern section runs through the Yorkshire Wolds from Pocklington to Hutton Cranswick as part of the Way of the Roses Coast-to-Coast cycle route. Beginning in Pocklington, a small market town at the base of the Yorkshire Wolds, the route follows an on-road path through the central Wolds, passing through Millington, Huggate, and Kirkburn. It then connects with Route 1 along Burn Butts Lane into Hutton Cranswick.
The southern section extends from Beverley to Kiplingcotes, passing through North and South Newbald. Route 164 is part of the Way of the Roses cycle route, which stretches from Morecambe on the Irish Sea to Bridlington on the North Sea.
