Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This ride takes you through the heart of Wiltshire along National Cycle Route 45 with the famous Stonehenge as a major route highlight. The ride starts in the centre of Salisbury near the tourist information centre and heads north along the River Avon towards Amesbury where you will find the iconic Stonehenge.

There then follows a lovely long stretch through Salisbury Plain, before an on road section takes you to Avebury - site of the ancient Avebury Stones. From here you head into the Marlborough Downs, before a series of country roads and off road paths take you to the finish point in Swindon, finishing near the tourist information centre.
