Upton Country Park
Upton Country Park, consists of 100 acres of parkland situated on the north west edge of Poole, Dorset. Attractions include formal and informal gardens, open parkland, woodlands, farmland and the Grade II listed Upton House. There are also fine views towards the town across Poole Harbour. The route can be extended to Poole town centre by cycling or walking along the Holes Bay path.
Just to the north you'll find the Upton Heath Nature Reserve. There's miles of trails here with fine views towards Poole Harbour and Corfe Castle from the high points. You can also pick up the popular Castleman Trailway here.

The park has splendid on site tea rooms with a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Walled Garden. It's a great spot for a rest on a warm summer day.
Further Information and Other Local Ideas
The Castleman Trailway starts at the park and offers a good way of extending your exercise. The shared cycling and walking trail runs all the way to Ringwood along a good, flat path. On the way it visits two other fine country parks in the area - Avon Heath Country Park and Moors Valley Country Park. It also passes Delph Woods in Corfe Mullen. The nature reserve includes some peaceful trails running along a pretty stream.
The Poole Harbour Trail passes the park. The 40 mile circular walk is a great way to explore the many highlights surrounding the significant harbour.
