On the way you'll visit the wildlife rich Wicken Fen Nature Reserve and enjoy a riverside stroll along the River Cam and River Great Ouse on the Fen Rivers Way. The final waterside section takes you along Soham Lode to return to the town. The Lodes are ancient man made waterways created to link a series of Fenland villages to the River Cam. You can explore other ones on the Lodes Way, a circular walking and cycling route that starts from Wicken Fen.
