Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk explores a peaceful area of woodland near Nutley and Horsted Keynes in the High Weald.
There's a network of nice trails to follow around the site with lots of wildlife to see on the way. Keep your eyes peeled for Crossbill, Nightjar, Hobbies and Buzzards as you make your way around the site.
You can start off from the parking area on Bell Lane on the eastern side of the woods at postcode TN22 3YB. At the western side of the woods there's also a series of ponds around Furner's Green.
The walk can be extend by heading a short distance south to visit the National Trust's Sheffield Park. There's some splendid 'Capability' Brown landscaped gardens with four delightful lakes to see in the expansive park.

Dog Walking

As you'd imagine the woods are ideal for dog walking so you'll probably see other owners on a fine day.

You could pick up the Uckfield Walk and explore the nearby Ashdown Forest for more woodland trails. The lon distance Diamond Way also passes through the woods.
