National Cycle Network Regional Route 30
This long distance circular cycle route follows National Cycle Network Regional Route 30, National Cycle Route 1 and National Cycle Route 11 around the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk.
It uses these signed trails to create a circular loop ride around the counties, visiting several major towns and villages with lovely coastal stretches to enjoy on the way.
This route starts and finishes on the coast in Great Yarmouth but as a circular ride you can of course begin from anywhere along the route.
From Great Yarmouth you visit Mundesley, Cromer, Burnham Market, Dersingham, Sandringham Country Park, King's Lynn, Downham Market, Thetford, Diss, Harleston, Bungay, Beccles and Lowestoft.
The route takes place mainly on minor roads and quiet country lanes but there is a nice off road section through Thetford Forest as well.
