Adstone Hill Walk
This waymarked circular walk climbs to Adstone Hill on the Long Mynd near Ratlinghope in the Shropshire Hills.
The top of the 369 m (1,211 ft) high hill provides some wonderful views over the Shropshire Hills AONB. You can start the walk from the public car park near the Bridges Pub and Youth Hostel and then head south along the Shropshire Way to reach the hill top.
You then descend into Wentnor where you could stop for refreshments at the half way point.
The route then heads north along alternative footpaths, running close to the River East Onny which runs through the area.

Pubs/Cafes
The Crown Inn, Wentnor is an historic pub of some note. The old coaching inn dates back to the 16th century and includes a charming low beamed interior. Outside there's a fine garden with views over the surrounding hills and countryside.
At the start/end of the route there's also The Bridges pub. They serve good food and also have a fine garden area. You can find them at postcode SY5 0ST.
