Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This signed Sustrans route follows National Cycle Route 423 from Cwmbran to the Wye Valley in Herefordshire.
You'll head through south Wales into England, passing the towns of Usk and Monmouth on the way.
Route highlights include the lovely traffic free section along the Peregrine Path. This trail takes you from Monmouth to Symonds Yat Rock along the River Wye. The finish point is at Goodrich near the noteworthy Symonds Yat. Here you can enjoy some glorious views of the Wye Valley AONB and look out for the Peregrine Falcons. There's also the historic ruins of Goodrich Castle to see in this area.
