You can start off from the good sized parking area located in the glen. You can then follow trails along both sides of the Water of Ruchill which runs through the heart of the glen.
On the way you will pass the early 19th century church before enjoying some splendid views of the surrounding hills and countryside.
You can continue your walking in the area by heading to Deil's Cauldron or visiting the nearby Glen Lednock.
