Maunsel Lock Walk
This circular walk explores the area around Maunsel Lock on the Bridgwater and Taunton Canal in Somerset.
The lock is a nice place to start a walk with a car park, canal centre and tea rooms for refreshments. Near the lock you will also find the impressive scale model of the Sun, on the Somerset Space Walk. The walk runs along the length of the canal and is lined with a number of interesting sculptures representing the planets of the Solar System.
This circular walk from the locks takes you south to the swing bridge at Outwood before returning through the countryside on a mixture of footpaths and country lanes.
