Pubs/Cafes

A seasonal ice cream van appears at the site during the warmer months. You can pick up basic refreshments here. The Railway pub is located just to the west of the park next to the train station. To the east there's the Jolly Carter which has a good menu and a garden area to sit out in. You can find them at 168 Church St, Little Lever, with a postcode of BL3 1BW for your sat navs.

Dog Walking

The river and parkland trails are ideal for dog walking so you're likely to see other owners on your visit. It's best to keep them on leads as there is a lot of birdlife in the park. The Jolly Carter mentioned above also welcomes dogs in the vault area and beer garden provided they are on a lead.
