National Cycle Route 246 - Romsey Mottisfont Andover Kintbury

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This signed Sustrans route follows National Cycle Route 246 from Hampshire based Romsey to Kintbury in West Berkshire.
The route uses a mixture of quiet roads and traffic free paths including part of the old Sprat And Winkle Line railway. You'll also pass along part of the Test Way where there are nice views of the River Test.
You start off in Romsey in the Test Valley and head north towards Mottisfont where you will pass one of the route highlights at the historic Mottisfont Abbey.
You continue to Stockbridge, Leckford and Fullerton before passing through Andover. The final section runs through some pleasant countryside visiting St Mary Bourne, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Faccombe and Inkpen Common before finishing at the pretty village of Kintbury. Here you can continue your outing along the Kennet and Avon Canal and National Cycle Route 4.
