Ballymore Eustace River Loop Walk
This circular walk explores the area around the town of Ballymore Eustace in County Kildare.
The walk includes a lovely riverside section along the River Liffey, and some fine views over the Golden Falls Reservoir to the south of the town.
You can extend your outing by picking up the Blessington Lakes Walk. There's more fine waterside walking along Poulaphouca Reservoir here.

Further Information and Other Local Ideas
To the north west there's the historic town of Naas where you can enjoy an easy stroll along the Naas Branch of the Grand Canal canal. The Sallins Canal Walk also starts near here.
The Pollardstown Fen walk explores an ecologically important National Nature Reserve. It includes a fine boardwalk trail and can be found just west of Naas.
Head further north and you can explore the popular Donadea Forest. The woods include some pleasant walking trails taking you through mixed woodland to a pretty lake.
The Hill of Allen includes an interesting 19th century tower and an excellent viewpoint.
