Naas Canal Walk
This pleasant waterside walk follows the Naas Branch of the Grand Canal from the town of Naas in County Kildare.
You can start off from the canal basin where there is a parking area. From here you follow paths north along the canal for about 2 miles to the point where it joins with the main section of the canal. Along the way you'll pass a series of locks and enjoy views of the surrounding area.
Naas is only about a 45 minute drive from Dublin so can easily be visited for a day trip.
To continue your waterside walking in the area head south to pick up the Blessington Lakes Walk and the Ballymore Eustace Loop.
