Suí Con (Seecon) forest Rivers flow almost unnoticed through the forest. They form an important function in draining the blanket bog on which the forest is planted, and Coillte, the forest management company, has invested time and effort into ensuring that the rivers are not polluted or otherwise compromised in quality for when they reach open areas and flow toward Galway Bay.
